Children's Day

9:30 am         McLaughlin Park

Lawn chairs and refreshments are welcome on Children's Day at McLaughlin Park. (If raining, the event will be held at Turlington High School Auditorium.) Entertainment includes Stories by Sheila, Magic by Chaz, and Miming by Jef Lambdin.

Parade on Main Street

4:30 pm         Opening Ceremonies 5:30 pm                  Parade Begins

The Turkey Festival Parade will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2011, with Opening Ceremonies at 4:30 pm in City Hall for all sponsors, elected officials, and city/county dignitaries. Beginning at 5:30 pm, the NCTF Parade will be coming down Main Street with floats, bands, fire trucks, marching units, and much more for viewers of all ages to enjoy.
